Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 9, 2026

The Short Version

Your data is not for sale. Period.

We do not collect personal information from you automatically. We do not sell data, show ads in the app, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

If you choose to email us debug logs after a problem, those logs are technical only—no Instagram username, passwords, or post content. They may include things like error messages, which filters are on, and device/iOS version so we can reproduce the issue.

Premium features are available through an optional subscription billed by Apple; we still do not use that to build an advertising profile or sell your data.

What We Don't Collect

MASK does not automatically pull your personal information off your device. We do not run analytics or ad trackers that send your behavior to us.

MASK does not collect:

Optional Debug Logs

If you encounter a problem and choose to send us debug logs via email, those logs may contain:

Your Data is Not For Sale

We do not:

This is not because of regulations. This is our choice. Your privacy is not negotiable.

How MASK Makes Money

MASK is free to download with core features available at no charge. Optional paid subscriptions (processed entirely by Apple) unlock premium features.

We do not sell your data, show third-party ads inside the app, or track you for marketing. Privacy tools should stay usable without paying with your personal information.

Where Data Lives

All content filtering happens on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers because we don't have servers.

The only time data leaves your device is when YOU choose to send debug logs via email.

Subscription status is handled by Apple and your Apple ID; we do not receive your payment card details from Apple.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy in a way that reduces your privacy protections, we will:

We will never make privacy-reducing changes without your knowledge and consent.
